Border Meringues in Scottish Borders

Just the best breakfast in the Borders... Absolutely fantastic, highly recommended.

Called to book a table for breakfast a few weeks in advance. Turned up at allotted time and they were shut and it seems they are never open on a Sunday. Not impressed! Happily we found a cafe offering breakfast in the town centre which was delicious

Fantastic lunch. Great selection of tray bakes and cakes to finish off. Very pleasant staff. Highly recommend a visit.

My husband and myself visited here on 14thJanuary 2022 I had a jacket potato and myhusband had gluten free chicken soup withgluten free bread and gluten free chips.When his soup arrived he started eating it and has about3 or 4 spoonful's and saw that the soup had noodles in.He took it back to the staff (whoby the way were very nice) and explained aboutthe soup he told them he was coeliac and thatthe soup was now contaminated.The brought him a fresh bowl of soup which he started to eat and found another noodle.They only charged us for the drinksbut this is not the point my husband isunder investigation at the hospitalas they say he is not sticking to his gluten freediet.The truth is he is and it is when we go outto eat the establishments say it's Gluten freewhen clearly it's not. People don't seem tounderstand this is peoples health my husband has already had bowel cancer

Lunch was delicious. Baked potato cooked perfectly with coronation chicken. Followed by coffee and carrot cake ....yummy!

Great food all round ....but the Cakes .....wow. An absolute must when you go.

A most unassuming building but don't be put off...inside delights to tickle your tastebuds await you. Great coffee and cakes. I had the carrot cake and it was delicious.

A gem of a Cafe located in the scotish border town of Jedburgh... fabulous fabulous food including strawberry tarts, lemon possets, scones, meringues- Seneca selections of sandwiches and soups. Amazing service friendly staff. Highly recommended.
