China Garden in Scottish Borders

We booked to dine in on a Saturday evening. When we arrived there was a queue of customers waiting to pick up take away orders. Despite being rammed, and us the only dine in customers, we had a fantastic meal. They were attentive and apologised for the delays- even though the delays were not unreasonable. Chicken fried rice, chicken and cashew nut, crispy duck and crispy chilli beef were just some of the amazing dishes we had. Highly recommend.

Always a decent takeaway, with fast service. As of 22/02/22, dining-in is still unavailable, due to the pandemic.

I've never eaten here but its a clean and professional establishment..

Large order for 8 people prepared in just 20 minutes, very good quality food which tasted great. Gluten free customer catered for.

Visited last night just after 17:00 for dinner. Staff very friendly, service super quick and the food was really tasty! Only issue I had was the Diet Coke I was given was super flat despite there being can’s in the fridge. If you want fizzy juice specify you want a can

First time at the Mandarin Garden and it won’t be our last. Decor may be dated but the service was fast and friendly. The food was delicious and was presented beautifully. Unfortunately I couldn’t eat it all as the portions were huge. I would highly recommend folk to come here.
