China Pearl in Scottish Borders

One of the few places in Eyemouth that delivers. Reasonable quality but overpriced small portions. I ordered a chow mein for £7.30 and it came in a small container!

Spicy wings (aka salt and pepper wings) were just battered wings covered in loads of salt, no pepper or chili. Tom yum soup was just white pepper soup (no sourness at all). Had both dishes at many other places and this was the most disappointing. Polite service (except a 10p accidental overcharge), it didn't take too long to make (~10 minutes), well packaged for both the soup and wings.

All I can say is it was lifting. Homeless tramps get better food out of the bins.

Was staying at the local holiday park. Great customer service and the food the, Aromatic Duck was lovely and so was the plain pork char Sui.

Nice take away, used it on our last two visits. No squid this time so salt and pepper king prawns, quarter crispy duck, house special rice, some soup and ribs was our order. It was all good.

Just purchased 2 portions of spring rolls. Both portions weighed around 8 ounces in total. Cost was £6.50 including plastic bag. Rolls were very basic, no real filling I could identify with ie meat, expected more @ £13.00 per lb. Thankfully we were not starving

Ordered crispy seaweed, starter box, chicken curry, special Cantonese, noodles, fried rice, chips and prawn crackers, all very nice, and nice staff, totally recommend

Great place. Been going for years. Having lived in Edinburgh for 6 years for uni, I had plenty of choice there for takeout, and China Pearl holds its own against the variety of big city Chinese options.I recommend the spicy shredded beef or salt and chilli chicken.
