I stayed here recently while on a stopover with work. Lovely little hotel, rooms very clean with all that you need. Food lovely too, I had haddock made in fresh batter, delicious! Lovely staff, I couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. I didn't get the ladies name but thank you for a lovely stay. Chris (piano tuner) x

Had 1 night stay for working purposes was made very welcome very nice people had fish n chips from the takeaway was marvellous room was cosy and warm and had a great sleep would definitely visit again hopefully 😀

We were brought here by a friend who lives locally to have Sunday lunch. It didn,t dissapoint, staff were really friendly and very welcoming.We were with a wheelchair ♿ user and sat out in the sunshine, but couldn't get up on the decking which was fine as the staff really went out their way to accommodate us, bringing us a table and chairs so we can eat outside, with stunning views.Great service, good menu and drinks menu. Lovely atmosphere and defiently a place worth a visit.

Lovely owners. Stay was a nice break. Could improve decor in rooms & a few DIY jobs to be done. Bed & bedding not comfortable. Dripping noise throughout the night then traffic early. Breakfast was ok.

Stayed for a few nights a few months ago. Super friendly staff. Small but clean with fantastic food choices. Only down point is no decent bike store until 10pm, lucky our friends were able to keep our bikes for us. Good value for money and would definitely recommend.

Lovely meal. I had the chicken breast stuffed with haggis while my other half had scampi, both very enjoyable, followed by cheesecake and apple crumble, just as good. From previous experience we can recommend the Chinese menu too.With our bottle of Chardonnay only £12.50 and our overall bill coming in at less than £50, this was a satisfying evening at a very reasonable price.

I had the steak pie whilst cycling the capital trail and it was fantastic! The staff were super friendly and really accommodating given I was a muddy cyclist. They looked after my bike ans gear and made me feel at home. Local ales on offer were really tasty too. Made for a pleasant end to a rainy day of off road riding.
