Coffee house, day-restaurant, second-hand quality bookshop, and eastern rug mini-emporium rolled into one, located just off Hawick's main street at the confluence of the River Teviot and the Slitrig Water. Quite different. And very nice food, with helpful and attentive staff. A treat for local people and passing visitors alike. Likely to be remembered.

Recently re-opened, as good as ever. Good distancing between tables, stylish effectively placed screens hardly noticeable, look as if they're part of the fabric of the place.Tables disinfected between customers.Try the Guinness and chocolate cake - delicious.

Such a fabulous place, not to be missed if you're in Hawick. Lovely menu and some gorgeous cakes. Wonderful coffee menu too, thoroughly enjoyed a Turkish Coffee as well as the Arabic coffee.

What a lovely little cafe! Food was lovely (meze & panini) as was the Latte and Chai - even got to have a very brief drum - great dog friendly place, where our two boxers felt really at home and completely relaxed. The treasure trove of books was amazing. Would highly recommend.
