Gala Tandoori in Scottish Borders

Food always good but tonight over 30 minutes late which means we won’t be eating until 845. The just eat App said they had left at 745! Also not good. I phoned at 815 and was told the driver had left 4-5 minutes before.

Amazing birthday dinner for my brother's 30th, great staff, delicious meal, excellent all around!

Waited for 2 hours and 15 minutes-for home delivery that they said would be 1 hour. When it arrived it was Luke warm as driver had been informed to go to St Boswells not Newtown St Boswells.(even though we had had delivery before). The Tandoori de luxe was not up to expectations as only had one king prawn in and had a chicken leg on the bone, definitely not worth the money. Sad to say we will not be rushing back.

Takeaway meal. Starters were tasteless. Fish pakora tasted like the fish was pretty old. Not good. Main course ok but nothing special. Good naan bread. There are better curry houses in Gala so would recommend them over this one. Staff were friendly and polite but the food just wasn’t up to standard. Pity.

Absolutely great, very nice interior, clean and smart, staff were really helpful and couldn't do enough to help, the food was simply gorgeous and there was plenty of it, overall amazing value and great food, can't wait to visit again

Very good Indian restaurant, clean foods good and service is good. Try the coconut rice its really good and the lamb tikka masala is nice aswell. I visited with my wife and 2 kids , my 7yr old couldn't eat it all so we asked could we take it away in a tub. 5 mins passed and we found out that it was mistakenly thrown in the bin, so they went out there way and re-made a full chicken korma , full coconut rice and whole namb bread . It was really good of the owner to do this . Well worth a visit for good food and nice friendly service. Will be back .
