Glen Cafe in Scottish Borders

Friendly new owners, great coffee, and loads of choices of cake.We chose bacon rolls which were lovely.A special setting and the longer opening hours are a great asset to the area.

Ideal place to stop on a run out from Edinburgh. 2 bacon rolls (Gluten free) and a coffee £8, worth it, they have other options if your celioac. I went on a Sunday,alog of like minded bikers stopped there, great view from the cafe...Recommended.

Good to see The Glen open again. Not got a full menu but they'll get more as things pick up.Useful washing up bowl of soapy water by the door for helmet cleaning, but only a few paper towels provided so was glad I had a microfibre cloth with me.Staff friendly and churning out the orders as fast as they can.

Very welcoming great service! Food was lovely! Very busy with campers and bikers only thing I missed was the shelfs for helmets but they did make sure that there was clean water so we could clean our helmets which greatly appreciated!

Called in to The Glen Café on Sunday (5/6/22) whilst out for a motorcycle ride and it was REALLY busy. The staff were coping very well with orders, the food (and cakes) were great too. Lovely place for a wee rest and pitstop. 👍👍. Cheers.

Fantastic rest stop for Bikers, cyclists , hikers and those doing outdoor pursuits.Family friendly space. What a Lovely place to stop and view. Bikers. cars. Caravans all stop here. Good place for hiking. Going for a wee stroll. You can camp here overnight or just fir the day. You can go out on the loch with your canoe kayaking. Walk the hills if you want.Very lovely and peaceful. Tranquility
