Greens Coffee Shop in Scottish Borders

Was busy, however order taken swiftly. Area clean. Staff were attentive. Tables spaced appropriately. Fancied a bit carbs after exercise so had mac/cheese with bacon, which was clearly home made and not pre packed as is sometimes case in busy food outlets. Was there with family and all enjoyed food. There is outdoor seating, sufficient clean toilets and disability access.

Place is okay at best. Staff were not the most welcoming, had to pay for meal at the table at the same time as ordering, odd. Food was okay, had fish cakes which were bland.

Stopped for coffe and cake before a walk. Great service. Scones with fresh cream were amazing. Coffe was tasty too. We had our dog with us and they welcomed us with no problem.

Had a delicious crispy chicken with spicy mayo toasted ciabatta and a side of their beautiful rosemary salted fries. Wasn't easy to decide what to order from the lovely menu.Staff are super friendly and happy and even though it was an extremely busy Friday lunchtime we didn't have to wait long for our food. Would definitely recommend trying here for lunch if you're in Melrose.

Lovely cafe, friendly staff waiting to serve us and very knowledgeable about the food offer. Lemon drizzle cake portion tiny however, hence only four stars. Will be back though.

Fantastic choice for all our group. Menus available forVegan Dairyfree and gluten free as well as everday menu. Staff friendly and attentive. This place is also dog friendly. Highly recommended try if in Melrose. We will be back.

Recentaly I have visited this nice place few times with company who has limitations. Accessable for dissabled and has staff trained well. I found this place an excellent for meetings and linches with friends. Food good

Delicious soup and sandwich, friendly staff and a really lovely café.

After a gentle walk round the town we stopped at this cafe for some lunch.Mushroom and tarragon soup. Followed up with a cappuccino and a scone.Food is delicious and the service was very attentive and friendly.We had our pup with us so we sat outside and people watched.Cracking place to stop off and have some food and relaxation.
