Love this place when I visit Galashiels. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Great bar meals good prices and a lovely atmosphere.

Friendly local pub, mainly middle aged or older regulars at the bar, but good food menu, with food service often busy. No food service on Sundays. Close to Galashiels Town centre. Serves Born brewery beer on tap

Had a very enjoyable Xmas party with worries about Omicron strain, food supply problems people cancelling last minute. Staff did a great job and food was good and company even better. Good job Salmon..

This was lovely jaunt on the train to Gala. Had a lovely pavement meal in the sunshine served good food by attentive welcoming staff. Great service and we'll hopefully do it again.

Friendly, and informative about the local area. The food looked very good with a lot of people dining on Wednesday afternoon. Lovely beer to boot.
