"Serving lunches and evening meals our extensive menu will get your taste buds tingling. Our homemade beer batter made from our Local Micro Brewery coats our locally sourced fish and served with “proper” chips from potatoes grown locally in Kelso. Our steaks including the meat from our homemade pies are all British and hand chosen by our butcher. Our homemade Sweets are varied from banoffee pie to giant meringues and our locally famous sticky toffee pudding is always a favourite amongst the customers."

Don't bother with this place if your not a resident, We came of the St Cuthbert's way long distance trail hoping to get a meal and were turned away. It was only 15.30 and was told they had run out of food although they were due to stay open till 18.30. not many in at this time but would not accommodate a party of two. Also advertised take away food which they said they were not doing. wasted our time coming off the trial.

Had a lovely meal here, the service was a bit slow. If it had been a bit quicker would've got a dessert.

What a little Gem, searching for availability anywhere and stumbled across this site. Loved it, relaxed atmosphere, already booked to go back. Restaurant was beautiful and staff lovely while rushed off their feet due to restrictions. Jennifer was extremely friendly.

Really high quality site. Very efficient, friendly staff. Very good amenities building. Stunning views from the camping field. Especially in poor weather.

We had our wedding reception here,the function room is beautiful and was set out perfectly. The staff are wonderful and I can't praise them enough. They catered for 40 and there was enough to feed at least 60 and them some. It was cooked and presented beautifully. I give them 10 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ as 5 simply isn't enough

Lovely food and terrific service. It was so enjoyable to have a meal in a relaxed atmosphere whilst being aware that the staff were attentive if we needed them to be. The team should be congratulated and recognised for their outstanding effort on behalf of the customers.

Called in for the first time for a Sunday carvery greeted by lovely bar staff and a friendly waiter.. food was lovely plenty of choice i was in my element as I love gammon, creamed leeks and cauliflower cheese .. and the hubby got the Turkey beef which he thoroughly enjoyed.. will definitely be back and would highly recommend
