Always enjoy the lasagne and coffee. Staff always friendly and polite. Place is always spotless

Nice friendly cafe with really good service from friendly faces. Not ate there yet but inside and outside seating options make it a lovely place for a coffee or other drink at any time of day.

First impressions. It was lovely and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. In fact I thought it would have been more expensive so was pleasantly surprised. All the staff were wearing facemasks and there was plenty of hand sanitiser about.Enjoyable lunch would definately go back if I was in the area again.

My favourite place to eat in Galashiels. Great food, pleasant staff and a good all round atmosphere. The prices are reasonable too!

Great service, breakfasts and coffee are allways served hot, place is super clean and has plenty of condiments.

All seems a bit chaotic, can't read the menu on the wall, writing is not clear and I don't even need glass's Tables too small, radio too loud, food is not great, staff could smile a bit more. However, the coffee is pretty good and the cafe is very clean.

Have been using Macari's cafe since the early 1970's, If your looking for food or just a quick snack then this is the spot, With pleasant mannered staff willing and very helpful. For me it's the coffee it just doesn't come any better, m mm The location is central and you have easy access to individual local high street shops.
