Off The Square in Scottish Borders

Today was the first time I'd visited but my parents come here when in the area.The staff were all so lovely. The food was delicious. I had a chicken goujon wrap and mum had a breakfast roll. Both items were so fresh and cooked to perfection.We had the two tub chairs near the back of the restaurant and for me personally on crutches and struggling with a hip these chairs were so comfortable for me. I can't wait to come back again when I'm next in the area next month.Thank you for a lovely dining experience.

What a lovely reception we received when six of us turned up soaking wet on a bike ride following a downpour of rain. So welcoming to us. Not only that but also delicious carrot cake, made on the premises and great coffee too. Would highly recommend.

Had real difficulty finding an all day breakfast in Kelso as it had turned 12pm and the lunch menu was being served everywhere. Stopped here and asked if we could still order this and they asked the chef. Such a lovely breakfast, delicious haggis. Really friendly and helpful staff. Will stop by again albeit earlier this time! Thank you ladies!

Lovely to sit at table with white parasols outside in sunshine, it's set back from main pavement, still get the buzz from the main streetthe small restaurant behind is warm and welcoming tooFood good with a wide choice

Lovely friendly people. Not a cafe to sit and natter with friends unless you buy enough food to warrant the time.

Lovely out of the way cafe. We had soup, lentil, with croutons and bread. My other half had chicken burger and chips with latte and tea. It was amazing. Didn't have room for cake but will definitely try some next time we're there

Very nice coffee and cake shop. Good food and friendly staff. So good we returned on numerous occasions.
