Overall not a great experience The food was below average and the staff were pretty stressed out.

·

ordered at 18:04 for takeout delivery, eventually arrived at 1945 (when it says 45minutes for delivery), food was barely lukewarm so i had to microwave everything. also, peas in an onion bahji is just no!this was the first order since around 2016, had a bad experience then and this has not changed that opinion.definitely will never order or eat here ever. again. Shukria FTW!

Second visit to this place and both times the food and service were excellent. Would recommend and will surely be back when in Peebles.

Excellent food (I had vegetarian) Service level 5 star, cosy atmosphere

Absolutely incredible- the starter was totally delicious and the main was superb! Would totally be back here whenever I’m back in Peebles!

Visited this restaurant last Sunday night . The food was outstanding and so was the staff . We were pushed for time but the owner went above and beyond to have our food out quickly and booked us a taxi . Best lamb pathia I have tasted and my friends were equally impressed with theres . Will definitely be returning next time we are in Peebles 10/10

If I could give this restaurant zero stars I would.Went in on Saturday night,.no booking, waitor tried to put is in a bad positioned table, we refused , the female started speaking to the waitor in their own language, luckily for us the person I was with could understand and spoke up.We then got moved to another table, the female member of staff came over to us and asked us "what we wanted to drink" then the phone rang and she just answered , no excuse me or anything and walked back to the bar.We stood up and walked out.Her attitude was a disgrace ...If you want to go somewhere where they appreciate your custom then avoid here.Plenty of other establishments in Pebbles where they will make you feel welcome

Delicious food for eat in and takeaway and great service. So nice to eat out again. The Balti is exceptional!

The food was good. I think it was a bit expensive (£11 for a curry). I was annoyed that 2 people, ordering poppadoms, 2 mains and a naan to share, were hassled to buy more rice and naans. It was the perfect quantity for us, more food would have been unnecessary, and we ordered drinks. Just felt rude.

Great Indian restaurant. Nicely decorated and we received a warm welcome from the staff. They appeared to be a bit understaffed as the service was rather slow but we were not in a hurry so it was not a problem for us. The menu has a great selection of dishes some of which I hadn't seen anywhere else. The food was delicious and everybody in our group enjoyed their meal. Loses a star because of the slow service and the washrooms which although adequate were in need of attention to bring them up to the same standard as the rest of the premises.
