Very slow service so expected something good. We were disappointed in what appeared to be microwaved minimal meat portions. Sad to say we won’t go again

They got my order wrong, no worries it still was really good.

·

Consistently the best indian food I've ever had. The Spiced Salmon with onions is a game changer for me. Especially if topped off with a Sag Aloo, and really tasty rice.

Looking at other reviews I think we must have unfortunately turned up on the chefs night off Very small portions, tasteless, bland and greasy curries Very poor nan bread Left still hungry and very unhappy

We visited on Thursday 23rd Sept. The food was delicous, cooked perfectly. Best Indian meal ihave had for a while. The staff were very helpful. Highly recommend

Food poisoning the last time I was here and was close to calling an ambulance that night.Iv eaten here a few times before and it’s was just bland and tasteless. Whoever is writing these reviews must be fake or don’t know what Indian food should be like.Stay well away

Last minute booking as we were driving through on our travels and hadn't booked anywhere to eat. Having looked at the reviews I was really excited to eat here! We love Indian food and have it regularly back home.Started off OK, the place is a bit dated but the toilets were clean, table staff were friendly and attentive and the popadums and pickle tray were very tasty but it all went down hill when the mains arrived. We ordered Butter Chicken and Chicken Karahi with a side of onion bhajis, Chapatis and Garlic Naan. The Butter chicken was quite bland but sweet, the chicken wasn't freshly cooked it was very hard and chewy chicken strips, the sauce didn't taste like Butter Chicken at all. The Chicken Karahi sauce was slightly better but came with lamb instead of chicken and the lamb was so chewy you couldn't eat it. The bhajis didn't seem fresh, very stale and lacked seasoning. The chapatis and Naan were really lovely and soft though.Overall, the meat here is really bad, it isn't freshly cooked and the sauces lack spices. If we had had other options and weren't starving we would've walked out.Bear in mind this is located in a small village so may cater for local tastes (no offence to the lovely people of Coldstream!), but if you eat Indian food regularly and have high standards for these dishes, I would avoid as you will be really disappointed.

Malayan curry is unreal. Amazing food, ate whilst on holiday in Northumberland. Absolutely worth the 20 minute drive to collect. One of the best Indians I think I’ve had!

·

Excellent Indian takeaway, high quality and tasty! Used twice whilst on holiday in the local area, would definitely recommend.

·

Delicious! Generous with the amount of lamb they serve! It tasted like a homemade nan bread which is unheard of these days! Very friendly service & food very tasty :)
