Wonderful, friendly staff, specially Brodie, who has great knees!!! Beer well served, and FREE CRISPS! Much improved under the new ownership - You no longer have to look at the previous landlord looking at his phone all the time. Great banter, great beer, lovely staff - what's not to like!!

Love this place, lovely area with flowers outside to sit and watch the world go by.Nice seating inside with good banter from the friendly helpful staff and locals.Good variety of drinks, beers, ales and lovely local gins, I tried all of them, hubby liked the ales. They also do coffee, tea, hot chocolate and pastries. Olives, pickles and crisps too.They didn't have Baileys one night when I asked but next day they made sure they had it. Brilliant service. Stopped here to have a refreshing drink whilst exploring Kelso. Well placed with good views of town square. Decent selection of draught beer and the one I chose was a pale ale and very drinkable. Also serves coffee, soft drinks and selection of food. A quirky little place, with fun posters and memorabilia. The toilets were immaculate which says a lot about a place. Would of got 5 stars but service a little slow, coffee average and prices a bit above the norm.

This is a great little place for good beer and cider. All staff really welcoming and friendly. Impromptu music by local musicians is an added bonus. Lovely atmosphere.

Stopped in as we had heard great reports of the place from other visitors to the town, Luke was very welcoming and made us feel at home, great service, good knowledge of the beers he was selling , nice choice of cask ales and some good guns available, cash sales only but that wasn’t a problem as we returned he next day and paid our bill and enjoyed another pint!Thanks Luke, we will return on our next visit!

Great bar in the main square, lovely outdoor seating with views of everyday life in the square. Professional and friendly staff and the beers are spot on now with the new setup. The cocktails are fabulous.

Best pub in Kelso. Spent a long weekend in Kelso, and Rutherford's quickly became our favourite bar. Great drinks, great staff, great location. Make sure you pop in if you're in Kelso.

Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere with the added outdoor seating, nice selection of ales and spirits. Considering they are running a limited menu I am looking forward to what these guys have planned in the future!
