Shukria Indian in Scottish Borders

Took an hour to arrive which was fine. The food however was not great, not much flavor just watery and overly hot. But also the delivery bag absolutely STANK of perfume and the smell was all over everything inside and they gave me diet coke when I ordered regular

We moved to Peebles recently and wanted to try and Indian takeaway. We were not disappointed with Shukria. Superb vegetarian choices, efficient delivery and amazing food. The only small suggestion I would make is to deliver in strong paper carrier bags, as the plastic delivery bag in not recyclable, otherwise it would be 5 stars.

Excellent food and service at a very reasonable price

Very lovely takeaway from Shukria! Slightly delayed delivery, but only about 30 minutes and it was well worth the wait. Big portions, lots of flavour coming through, and not at all greasy (unlike many Indian takeaways I've tried elsewhere).

It's the best Indian takeaway in Peebles and they are consistently good.

We got the chicken korma and its possibly the best korma we have had and the service was very good portions we're also very large very well cooked.

Excellent Indian takeaway, wouldn't go anywhere else! Staff were very helpful when there was an error with an order in the past.

15/4/21We had a shukri box last night. Amazing.3 of us shared it and what a meal we had.We were so full we could bearly move for hours after.Would deffo recommend.5 star every time. 😁😁😁😁Can't add photo cos we dived in without thinking, we were starving.

Whilst in Scotland a couple of weeks ago we ordered a takeout to try them out. We chose them based on their high rating on a Google reviews, which proved accurate, hence my review to add to their high rating. Despite being in a remote location they found us with ease. Delivery took half the time they had advised us of and the food was very tasty. Great variety on the menu and all our party thoroughly enjoyed their food. Very impressed. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend and use them again.
