Great hospitality, clean and comfortable room (although bathroom is a bit small), lovely dinner and breakfast.

·

We had two meals here and the food was delicious.

·

Enjoyed our well prepared burgers and desserts, sat outside in glorious sunshine! Friendly service too. We're fussy about cleanliness and food prep and weren't disappointed.

·

A lovely lunch here this week. The Templehall Burger was superb and the homemade Banoffi Pie was excellent. Throw in the great service from Kerry, has assured our return next time we're in Kelso. Thankyou.

Fabulous! A lovely place to drink, eat and sleep. The staff go out of their way to make your visit special. Their covid safeguarding is second to none and much appreciated. Great to experience this high standard, the added bonus is that it's independent.

Great stay. Very spacious and clean room. Tea and treats available in room. Staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Restaurant was great for both evening meal and breakfast. Bar and lounge available in hotel with special offers for walkers on the St. Cuthberts Way trail! This is the place to stay in Morebattle!!

A small but comfortable room. The best thing is the beer garden which is at the side of a field filled with birds and rabbits. We spent more time watching the wildlife thank talking! One word of caution, there is a very large selection for breakfast, however, if you choose not to have items your breakfast will come up a little small. My breakfast was fab but my husband didn't want a couple of items so had almost a child's portion....

Ideally placed for exploring southeast Scotland and the border's.Run by delightful staff, it's pleasant clean and comfortable and the food is excellentand reasonably priced. The WiFi is a little patchy and there is no shelf in the shower but other than that was just about perfect.😀

We ate in the restaurant. Our experience was excellent. The Covid arrangements are well implemented so it's a very safe environment. The food is really high quality and the service is friendly. Prices are reasonable for the quality. I would recommend it.

Felt very safe, the hotel is handling Covid-scure arrangements well. Very comfortable bed and quiet night's sleep. Breakfast good. Shame there's no porridge, kinda expect that in Scotland. One criticism is, as the bathroom has no bath and the shower has only a central deluge fitting the hotel needs to supply bath caps for guests.
