Excellent game selection, and prepared incredibly well. Cannot recommend it enough, worth making a trip for. Also the desert was extremely good as well.

Incredible food. My girlfriend insists its the best food she's ever eaten and enquired about booking Christmas dinner and it's only October! Lovely staff as well and a great welcoming atmosphere. Plenty of parking and the seating both inside and outside was comfortably spaced out and all clean.

An impromptu dinner for four was the best meal we have had during our week in the area. The menu was varied, the cooking out of this world and presentation of everything was perfect. Adding to this good wine, in a relaxed atmosphere and with good service produced a memorable meal and a most enjoyable night.

First visit based on TripAdvisor and weren't disappointed. Looks not much from the outside but the food is of a very high standard. I particularly enjoyed the 5 meat game pudding. Great service from 2 friendly and very polite young ladies. Great value for money and highly recommended

Excellent in every way. Friendly, personal service, lots of good vegetarian and vegan options, well priced and really delicious. The Sunday roast beef was excellent, as was my partner's vegetarian toad in the hole. Highly recommended.

Succulent.Risotto was creamy with good texture.For the main my wife had the Smoked salmon linguini. Quite rich but very tasty.I had Beer battered haddock with handcut chip and homemade tarter sauce. Delicious!Faultless.Book ahead as it's usually quite busy. A testament to how good it is!

First visit on the recommendation of friends and family, did not disappoint. Fantastic game and local produce based menu, and anyone who can do this with a grey squirrel has to be commended for their sense of humour and culinary adventure! Will most definitely be back.
