Good Food, Friendly Service, Good Value.Four of us popped in for a quick lunch before the Kelso races.I had a pastrami bloomer (sandwich). Others had a great soup, kipper pate (lots of it) and black pudding, all promptly served. The lads had a nice pint of pale ale.Be careful to choose from all three menus. Pizzas and desserts are on the drinks menu. Very confusing!We were surprised and disappointed to discover that face masks are still compulsory in Scotland.

Had my Christmas lunch with my walking group (6 of us - 2 tables, 3 at each) The food was excellent & service was great - prompt & pleasant. Good atmosphere - thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

Great food, great staff,incredible ice cream. Warm and cozy atmosphere. I had the seafood pasta which was exquisite.

This is a diamond of a little pub right in the town centre. Beautiful food - we had the steak pie and the crown of partridge. This was followed by the banana and peanut butter ice cream. All good portions, home cooked and totally delicious.

We had the most amazing chicken pakora kebab. Really friendly staff and great food :)

Amazing little place! Food was superb....easily the best meal we have had on the borders! The pictures on here really do not do the food justice....Would highly recommend to anyone!

Outstanding brunch menu. I've been twice now and ordered twice because I couldn't choose between the pancakes or the savoury waffles! Both were divine! Logekh service and 10/10 food. Will definitely be back!

Visited twice now when travelling to see family in Kelso. Each time received a warm welcome in the pub, which has a great choice of local beers and lagers from Tempest Brewery. The food was great on both occasions and really good value. Can get busy in the evening, so recommend booking.

Lovely food. Welcoming and friendly staff. Nice ambient lighting, not too bright nor dark. Food presentation was excellent! Salmon on bruschetta was beautiful. Even though it was technically a starter you could double it up to the size of main meal.
