The Contented Vine in Scottish Borders

Very nice venue ,stunning food and we'll presented staff ,had a great evening .

We attended for a special birthday, party of six. The organiser had agreed kn a set menu which had plenty to choose from.I, sadly am lactose intolerant which greatly restricted my choices, however the staff and chef were brilliant and offered me amazing alternatives.Fantastic atmosphere, friendly knowledgeable staff and fabulously prepared food. Well worth a visit if you are in Kelso.

First visit to the Contented Vine and certainly won't be the last,very prompt service and great food, restaurant was busy and no one seemed to wait long for their food,and reasonably priced.

The best meal I've had in a restaurant. Food was perfectly prepared and very flavoursome. Service was excellent and they were very attentive. Couldn't fault the experience.
