You can even bring the dog and the kids along! There are eight en-suite bedrooms located in a sympatheticaly converted Victorian schoolhouse adjacent to the Inn. Table d'hote menu is excellent value for money. Food freshly prepared and very tasty. And on a damp, dreich day the restaurant was warm.

Booked accommodation & dinner at short notice and was so pleased we did. All the staff were fantastic and the food was lovely including the veggie option. The atmosphere was great and very dog friendly. Really enjoyed our stay and special thanks to Andy who sorted everything for us last minute.

Really enjoyed our meal here. We dropped in for lunch and loved both of the dishes that we had. Also very welcoming to children and accomodating of our needs. Quite expensive but the quality of the food was well worth the price.

It has a great lite bites menumidweek . A must try is the Cullen skink ..it's lovely ...Ambience is nice and service is excellent. Staff are knowledgeable on ingredients used for all meals ...They also do a lovely vegan menu .. Booking is advisable.Will I be back ? ... Already booked a table 😉😉

Lovely meal with Cullen Skink starter and venison main. Attentive and friendly service...including a treat and water bowl for my dog. Dogs very welcome in the bar, not allowed in restaurant.

Visited with our son & his wife, ater a long pleasant walk in the beautiful countryside, after Xmas.Best chicken burgers we had ever tasted, very different plus the chips which were proper chips as mentioned on the menu.Varied good menue, we would visit againStaff very polite and very helpful.Pleasant atmosphere.👌🙂

Excellent pub with rooms. Friendly staff, incredible food with a great variety of gins and craft beers plus a comfortable room. Breakfast included in the room rate we'll definitely return.

Such friendly staff with amazing lunch time menu. Under £12 for 2 coarse and £15 for 3 coarse. Best steak burger ever. And blackberry and apple crumble. Was incredible. The pub too was clean and styled well.
