Favourite wee Hidden cafe. Great food or just for a wee drink. In the summer the courtyard is perfect for dining outside

Lovely friendly staff and good coffee and scones. Only thing is to have cash to hand as they couldn't take card payments.

Just don't waste your time on that place. Way overpriced, mediocre food. What seemed like a hidden away little gem was just a money grab disappointment. Undercooked paini, bland soup with small, cotton wool like piece of bread and 2 micro teas was £15.10 Lady in the kitchen was making sure everyone knew she was there with the loud sound of slamming stuff arround. Uncovered scones on the sideboard where everybody passes to get to the tables, so narrow that one customer just swiped one of them on the floor with her jacket when leaving the place.

Avoid. Hidden away, we thought we found a nice wee local tea room. Unfortunately it was a disappointing and mediocre experience. We has 2 cheese toasties and 1 coffee and tea. For £18 we had to wait a long time, the cheese toasties weren't melted, crisps were soft, and felt that at close to £7 each it should have been a bit better. We thought we might be tempted by something sweet but the table of bakes didn't look very appealing. The staff were nice but they seemed to ignore us - it wasn't busy and I suppose they need to get in the habit of checking the room to see if anyone is making eye contact. In the end we just got up and stood by the till with out coats on.

Great little cafe. Wide selection of lovely home bakes and good menu. Can highly recommend the toasties 😁. Comfy and friendly.
