Clean and pleasant pub. Friendly owners. Despite the other great reviews, we didn’t find the food that good to be honest. Nice for a drink though.

Excellent Sunday lunch. We went with friends and had a choice of beef, pork or chicken. There is also a small portion on offer for those who can't manage the generous larger plateful. There is a good choice of other meals too and a nice dessert choice. Fay's sticky toffee pudding is very nice. Staff are friendly and helpful and all for a reasonable price.

We had a really great evening the Owners are very welcoming. The food was cooked to perfection compliments to the Chef (the wife). We can recommend it for a Family night Out with the wee onces. Thank you

A great menu of value comforts. Our family of 4 each had starters, mains and desserts. Fay's Sticky Toffee Pudding was a tasty challenge that beat us, served by the creator herself. Friendly owners and a selection of local beers to go with locally sourced food. Great evening, great value.

Warm and welcoming owners. The food was well cooked and tasty, especially the chips and the sticky toffee pudding is delicious. There is a range of vegetarian and gluten free options. Toilets are clean. If we weren't going home in 2 days we'd be going back. Highly recommended

Meal was excellent, delicious, cooked to perfection. I had the Cajun chicken. Feel confident to recommend this establishment for a meal, owners very Covid conscious, hand sanitizer on the table and after meal wipes. It is all in the details.

Our local restaurant and pub, although its 4 miles away! We eat there regularly but infrequently and its always good. Sarah and David give us a warm welcome and the food is cooked to order. Was amazed that they remembered us, as its been over 18 months since we've seen them. Last visit was 19th June. A great place to eat out with friends. We go there so neither party has to cook and we can have a good catch up. Lots to see and do round about, so great for a short break.

Great Fish and Chips takeaway. My wife and I make an effort to try fish and chips all over the Scottish Borders. We tried the Plough and were very impressed. The fish was fresh and nicely fried and plenty for a hungry man. The chips were fat cut and well cooked. Presentation was good too, a nice box with two compartments. Certainly better than most places in the Borders. For £8 each a good meal at a good price.

Lovely food and nice staff
