Great quality coffee and excellent prices. Very friendly family run business. We didn't have cake but they looked delicious. Would definitely recommend

Unparalleled customer service! Two really kind people running this place; and when it comes to coffee they really know their stuff. Full of tips and advice. Adding to this the food was just excellent and the coffee well brewed! Second visit and I don’t anticipate it being my last

This wonderful cafe is a gem. Definitely worth a detour if you are traveling near the coast. The cakes and coffee are delicious! Everything is homemade. I had the most generous slice of Earl Grey teacake which was full of flavor and dried fruit. For a warm welcome, cozy atmosphere and delicious food, this is the place to come.

Gorgeous place, calm and cool. Lovely staff, friendly, warm and efficient. Food I had was fantastic. Filo wrap with lightly spiced vegetables... freshly made to order. Delicious. My party had the soup and a sandwich... all great quality produce perfectly prepared. Not a restaurant but restaurant quality. Did someone say cake? Wow! Amazing array of home made cake...something for every taste. Cater for gf and vegan. You must go.. perfect for a rainy day. Take away also available. Reminds me of the Italian cafes we would go to in Glasgow as kids.. stylish understated and homely and welcoming. Loved it

Excellent tea and cake was enjoyed by all the family on our most recent visit. During our May visit I got things to go. We come every time we visit as it is so very good in all aspects.Service is impeccable and the cakes are fabulous. We ordered four different cakes and tried each other’s. They were all excellent.I really enjoyed my green tea too, had citrus type notes to it.

Wonderfully welcoming and superb coffee. Run by a husband and wife this is quite simply the best cafe within the area. It’s so good we always make a point of taking a detour off the A1 to stop here. We are always made to feel welcome. The coffee is superb, easily on par with the best cafes in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Newcastle. The food is extremely high quality, superb breakfast, home made cakes everything is local, fresh and generous portions (my tip ask for the sausage in a roll). During the winter there is an open fire in the back which just adds to the already welcoming atmosphere.
