We had a lovely Mother’s Day afternoon tea here today. Delicious home-baking, the meringues were lovely! Unlimited tea and coffee. We had Prosecco and flowers for all the mums. The staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The tearoom itself is warm and homely.

Had a lush afternoon tea today in fact best one I've had because everything was perfect , Made to feel warm and welcome, placed in front of the fire as soon as we arrived and served up a delicious portion of savoury and sweet treats to feast on . Staff not only made us welcome but also took time to make sure the kids felt welcome also . Definitely a little gem to go to if your visiting the area or just passing for a lovely bit of food .

7 cyclists for lunch. We phoned ahead and Linda had our table ready. Lovely warm welcome and great efficient service. Both soups were delicious as were the puddings and cake.We will definitely return. Thank you Scots Pine

No windows open for ventilation, tables quite close, staff were not really coping with the amount of people in. Food was good, but a bit taken aback as i ordered baked potato with cheese without the sakad, coleslaw and crisps and was still charged the full price, most places take something off.

First time I have been back here since the new owners. Lovely friendly helpful staff. It makes such a difference to be served by pleasant people. Coffee and cake was very nice. Will be back soon to try something more substantial.

Lovely place that serves light lunches, lovely home baking. Very friendly staff. There is disabled wheelchair access but be aware car spaces in main parking area is limited. No disabled parking that I could see. And the main parking area is gravelled so a bit tricky for wheelchair users. Can't unfortunately comment on the disabled toilet as didn't use it. There is an outside seating area that could be a bit tricky to navigate for wheelchair users. Inside area quite spacious but if busy again it would be harder to navigate with a wheelchair but doable with care. Overall a good experience, would definitely visit again. 🙂

First time here since the new owner has took over. I was not disappointed had to book as very busy I went with my partner service was great nice friendly staff very attentive. We both had pate to start couldn't fault lovely fresh salad and oatcakes and good portion of pate. For mains both had macaroni wich was lovely and fresh very tasty served with beautiful garlic bread. The decor is fresh modern and very fitting this place is worth booking.
