Lovely setting with brilliant food. Everyone was very accommodating and our food arrived in good time. Portions were a great size, so much so I couldn't finish. Was given a doggy bag to take away, so I love their no waste approach. Really recommended the Waggon if your in Kelso! The haggis balls were the best! Will be back again.

Family friendly restaurant but the food didn't quite hit the spot. One member of staff was very friendly, and the food comes in good portions and is well-presented (certainly not just microwave meals that you get in some chain places) - but none of our four dishes were particularly flavoursome. No problems that you'd take issue with per se, just lacking in punch (maybe a lack of seasoning).

Had a lovely family meal yesterday evening,I was treated for mothers day .We all enjoyed our food, great atmosphere and the staff are lovely. They were very kind to our three year old grandson, much appreciated. Thankyou .

Very busy at lunchtime, noticed some people had a bit of a wait for their orders. We only had a bowl of soup and it was lovely. The staff were very friendly. Would definitely recommend a visit here.

Lovely staff, warm environment serving pub grub. A honest inn with no pretensions for a hearty feed. Not a special meal out venue but perfect for a bite with friends and family .

·

Great variety of food choices from traditional pub grub to sizzling fajitas to a decent choice of burgers. Salt n pepper haddock is my favourite so far...working gradually through the menu 😁Relaxed area where you can take your dog. Very friendly staff.

Excellent restaurant with a good choice menu. I had the salt and pepper haddock. Very tasty and a big portion. Staff attentive and very pleasant. Will definitely return when back in Kelso.

The portion is huge! I had a dish of deep fried haddock with coleslaw, salad, peas and chips. The bread crumb was nicely seasoned and so crunchy whilst the fish was so juicy. I was impressed with haggis balls. They were simply deep fried with crispy batter, but so tasty. The burgers! They have all sorts of burgers that satisfy all taste buds and huge appetite. I highly recommend this place especially if you are going with children. The prices are very reasonable.

We were lucky to get a table (Saturday), & so glad we did. Delicious food, excellent service.I can recommend the Locally captured haggis balls in pepper sauce, and the sweet potato skinnies with garlic mayo. My friend loved her calamari. Coffee was excellent too, and came exactly as I wanted it. Yes, I'm particular about my double espresso! All the food being delivered around us looked delish too.highly recommend
