Captains Rendezvous in Ceredigion

The perfect fish and chips. There is a real meastro on the friers. A true batter magician. 10 out of 10.

It was a nice meal. But, we couldn't help noticing the fish in the tank by the toilets. It was a relatively large fish, but was in an extremely small tank with barely anything inside to keep it happy. Also, the water looked really dirty and really needed changing. The fish was just floating, bored, with barely any space to swim up and down and looked very depressed. We hope you'll listen to our review and give that fish a much better life.

Slight problem with the pie but was sorted really nice food good price and friendly service

Excellent meal. Grandchildren absolutely loved the chips. Can't rate the food and service more highly. Thank you so much

Lovely food here and reasonably priced with a good choice ...the young girl serving (Welsh name can't spell it sorry) was very friendly and helpful ...would definitely recommend

Excellent fish and chips, lovely faggots, the grandchildren loved the food and ice cream.

Paid £15 for a small chips, large chips, fish cake and onion Baji, for a large chips I got less than what was in the small. The chip where bland and tasteless an my onion Baji was so burned I could throw it through a brick wall. Utter disappointment. Will be going a different fish an chip shop next time 👎👎👎👎👎

The best chips I have ever had, give them a try you won't regret it.

Absolutely recommend this place for fish and chips. They food was delicious, some of the best fish and chips I've had. The staff were friendly and accommodating and best of all the 'cook' was willing to change the oil for fresh oil to cater for my husband's milk allergy so he could eat here. Highly recommended if you are in New Quay.

Excellent fish and chips. All freshly made. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.
