Not a very welcoming establishment! Staff were rather standoffish, and hardly spoke, acknowledged or replied to you.As for food, we only ordered fish and chips, fish was good but the chips could have done with longer as they were soggy. Portion size was good and the place appeared clean.Would have awarded more stars if the staff had been friendlier.

Love this chip shop,just one thing it's not a big deal but if possible could you fine a curry sauce without the fruit don't mind the raisins 😜😘.

Not a great experience. A simple order massively messed up. Staff look at you pleading for you to accept the incorrect order and are indignant when you ask again for the correct order.However, the food...chips were fine not overly greasy and cod was a reasonable size without being overly covered in batter.

Quick service and the sausage &chips were great. I walked into the park behind the chippy and sat at the picnic table listening to the bird song while I ate.

Fish and chips was one of the nicest I have ever had. Really friendly owners and would recommend to anyone in the area

Having only discovered this chip shop a few weeks ago, I have been back several times since. The fish in this chip shop is the best fish I have tasted, ever. Over the last 52 years of my life I have visited many chip shops all over the country. This place makes the best cod in batter I have ever tasted. It is reasonably priced with crispy batter and flaky flesh. I will now travel an hour to get fish and chips from here. They have an inside sitting area and an outside table too. As well as the fish being amazing, the chips are superb. So creamy and well cooked. This place is cheaper than my local chip shop plus opposite the chip shop you have one of the cheapest petrol stations in Wales. So we fill up ourselves and fill up the car at the same time. The owners of the chip shop and their staff are very friendly. There is parking on the premises and a larger car park next door. They accept card payments, which is a bonus in these times when no one carries money anymore

Lovely fish and chips here - is my go to for a fish and chips with the family. Lovely to support a local business too. Wouldn't say the fish is the biggest in the area but a lovely fish and chips regardless. Have found them to be a little slow, forever ring and given 20 mins notice, I turn up 30 mins and that's usually about right. The price is good and they have friendly staff.
