Best ice cream we ever had so many flavours to pick from. We loved it.

Ice cream was very nice, but I can't see how they can justify the high price for a bit of frozen cream. Staff were friendly to me and the company I was in, unlike a few other reviews I've read.

Both me and my partner are exempt from facemasks. We waited outside as there was people in the shop looking at flavours, as we stepped forward to go in a lady shouted out the window 'if you're not wearing a mask you HAVE to order at the window' exaggerating the word 'HAVE'. Ths tone of voice was horrid. I said how can we chose to order if we can't go it? Well, the look I received was disgusting. Over the few days I've heard the staff talking quite rudely to customers. Such a shame, it looks like a lovely place. I just don't appreciate being shouted at through a window, not professional whatsoever. I get that keeping up the restrictions is hard. I'm a retail worker, I understand. It's not an excuse to be rude to what could be paying customers

I was stood in the queue today and witnessed the shop owner come out and tell the customer's to back up to keep the 2meter social distance rules. And for the record I totally agree with her efforts to maintain the social distance rules. When a gentleman in the queue said that they couldn't back up anymore because people at the back weren't moving, causing a bottle neck. The owner started to shout at the gent and tell him that he was causing the service to become slower. The customer told the manager/owner that he agreed with the effort to keep social distancing but couldn't be blamed for the slow service. The owner became very rude and aggressive towards the gentleman after noticing he wasn't Welsh, telling the gentleman that he wasn't welcome in her shop and should go back to England. After hearing that I was shocked, and safe to say so was the gentleman on the receiving end was too. The gentleman tried to reason with the owner by saying that he understood why she was trying to keep people at a distance. But the owner wasn't listening she was ranting about the gentleman not being from New quay or Wales after picking up on his accent not being a local one. She was shouting at the gent telling him to go back to England and that he wasn't welcome in her shop. I couldn't believe the ignorant behaviour of the shop owner and after the gentleman walked away, I caught up with him down the street and apologised, I explained that not everyone from Wales had her point of view. It turns out that the gentleman wasn't even English, he was Scottish. As a Welsh man I was so ashamed to hear the disgusting attitude towards a visitor to my country. I can't believe that someone that needs tourists as the main source of income would have such a shocking view of visitor's to New quay. Her attitude was embarrassing for the people of Wales, her customer service skills are non existent and she shouldn't be employed in a role dealing with members of the public.

Fantastic ice cream, really top quality!!!My only criticism is that I wished they published their opening days/times online or on Facebook. We made a special trip to New Quay on our last holiday day specifically for their ice cream but they were closed. This was a Thursday about 1.30pm. It would be much better if you could find out when they are closed online
