Crowes in Ceredigion

Caught the owner as she was closing up but we were welcomed warmly and she was happy to rustle us together some of her remaining ingredients. It was the most colourful and tasty dish I have had for a long time...Would definitely recommend to a friend!

Becky Crowe opened her café seven years ago today, on 09-Jun-2015 and what an amazing little gem this is!Tucked away on Black Lion Mews, Becky prides herself with home baked food, pies, quiche and cakes to die for.We tried the healthy cheese quiche, potato salad in mustard dressing, with broccoli, freshly cooked beetroot and olive salad, followed by a lemon and courgette sponge, covered in mascarpone elderflower icing and rose petals... quite frankly as unique a lunch as we have ever experienced! And the freshly brewed coffee, was bright and aromatic.This café is something else, frequented by locals and tourists and Becky certainly knows how to look after her customers!

Delicious, delicious, delicious! I received a HUGE portion of a very tasty dish and couldn't finish, so took a lil extra thing home with me to pair it up for dinner. Becky is the loveliest human too, definitely coming back next time I'm in the area again x

Such wonderful food! The cakes are well worth leaving a little room for! My partner isn’t vegetarian but he was blown away by the food! The Hoppity Pie was incredible! Such a friendly owner as well! Lovely!

What an amazing find, the most fabulous healthy wholesome comfort food in a relaxed atmosphere. Coffee was gorgeous and cakes looked fabulous but couldn't fit one in! Brilliant value for money. Frequented by the locals 'in the know' who are known to the lady cafe owner by name. Lovely.

We had a lovely lunch at Crowes today.Even though we arrived at the end of the lunch service. Becky still managed to put together two helpings of Homity pie, with interesting salads all put together effortlessly.Several other customers arrived while we ate and none left empty handed. Some were obviously regulars and confidently told Becky to just put together whatever was left. A mouthwatering blueberry and lime cake was dished up for one customer, it looked so good we couldn't resist having some too.The five star reviews are all totally justified. If we lived in Cardigan this would be our regular weekend lunch spot!

Super place to eat lunch. I'd read the reviews and was very hopeful. It's much better even than it's perfect reviews. Delightful owner and food is amazing, full of tastes yummy!

so i have been going to see becky for some time now and this is the first time i’ve remembered to leave a review becky honestly has the best veggie foodi have ever tasted and the service is just as good she is super friendly and always welcoming and does the best job of running her little business on her own 5 stars here!!! if you’re in cardigan area don’t miss the opportunity to pop in and try her amazing food

The most delicious vegetarian food I've ever had. The restaurant itself makes you feel like you just popped in to one of your friends house for a lunch :) The owner lady was very friendly and open for a good conversation :) I loved every second that we spent there.
