Best of bad bunch of pubs in Cardigan town, local cask ale by bluestone featured, good soft drink options & lovely courtyard overlooking the river but needs some modernisation.

A few months had passed, but an impression had been made and we were back.The log fire glowed, the staff smiled and The Cure proclaimed that On Friday I'm In Love....Sunday Lunch just has to be beef, for me. And wow, the beef was stunningly succulent.Vegetables, all beautifully cooked overflowed, with the offer of more if required.All drenched in lashings of gravy.A lovely spot, great food and friendly staff.As I left, The Cure reminded me that Sunday was a great day to be in love too......................................................................North Wales had been a blast, as had the journey back. The rain lashed and the wind howled, making the debris strewn roads far more exciting than needbe.Cardigan appeared. An oasis of calm, that we knew well.It was Sunday and our stomachs were reminding us of this fact with increasing ferocity.The Grosvenor reached out a hand of friendship and we were happy to accept.The beef roast dinners were delicious. The beef succulent and the veg cooked to a tee.Service was prompt and very friendly. Certainly a place we'll visit again.Leaving, Steve Harley spoke to me with a very apt tune...".... Blue eyes, blue eyes,How come you tell so many lies"Indeed.

Timely service. The food and the portions are excellent.Good range on the menu, and at reasonable prices. Would recommend a visit.

Very nice pub on the river would be great for a drink to watch the world go by if you have the weather. The staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. We didn’t eat here but for what I saw looked good. Also dog friendly 🐶

We were hoping to pop in for a pizza by the river, but it was fully booked, so we popped here instead.It was busy, but we were served quickly.Had seafood platter and it was quite tasty. Would have preferred more squid to fish in batter though.

Me and my fiance went here for some food while having a weekend away and the food was beautiful I had the gammon steak and my fiance had the lasagne we will definitely be going back here again next time we are in Cardigan

Had a fabulous visit! All the staff and mostly our waiter Harry were fabulous! So friendly and efficient. Helpful and really fun. Had a fab time and highly recommend their new signature cocktail ' the kermit'!Diolch 💕💕

Great place for a beer and a chat. Sport on the telly, if that's your thing; and nice views of the river from the outside seating area. I'm eating and drinking with family and I must say, it's very nice. The food is reasonably priced and tasty for a pub meal. I've enjoyed a number of meals and a fair few beers, sung with the local choir at the bar and heard a few bands....... lovely 😎
