Could do with tarting up. Light bulbs were missing. A four poster bed had no covers and one of the posts was right in front of the telly. Breakfast was very good

Pictures on website extremely deceiving.Receptionist rude.Sea view best bit.Need to clean rooms a bit better. Jets on jacuzzis full of limescale! Very dated decor.

Very bland in the dining area where we had breakfast and where we dined on first night. Room was "all right" (and the food was "all right") but dated as were dining areas. Having previously owned and run a 4 star Guest House which was rated 4.7 by Booking.com and Tripadvisor we were disappointed after upgrading to sea view room although it was a good view of the sea front. Staff were pleasant enough.

The reception & bar area looked quite nice & staff were friendly but was disappointed with our over priced room it was very basic. Check in time is very late 16.00 and Dept early at 10.00. Loud music was playing until the early hours. The car park is small so at times difficult to find a space. The hotel is perfectly situated on the seafront but unfortunately even that wouldn't entice me to stay here again.

Hi. Been here on about 4 occasions for work. Hotel lovely, food has been great. And all staff very accommodating. Thanks to Nerys, and all her team. X

Stayed here with my workplace, the food is hit and miss. The chef cooks hard to cook items well (duck, sea bass), but burns anything cooked in a fryer, the room was nice but the windows are single glazed meaning you awake every night to the people leaving clubs and the sea if it's choppy, the spa (jacuzzi/steam room) is good although the sauna is awful. The gym needs free weights.

My room was on 3rd floor, which meant reduced height to the ceiling. The floor wasn't level.Shower was rubbish.Even though I was on 3rd floor I could hear music from gnd floor.I could hear tv and bathroom fan from rooms below and next to me.On plus side the water and radiator were hot

Receptionist was miserable and unwelcoming. My key didn't work for the room so I had to head back down to reception to ask for a different key. I told her and her response was 'are you sure it doesn't work', she either didn't care or was having a bad day. Either way not very professional. Room was nice once I got into it. However there was a fault with the shower nozels. Clearly spend some money on the place, but not very well maintained. Not worth £145 for a night.

Limited parking (even with overflow park) alleviated by free parking on the prom until mid-day. Currently short of staff like many resort hotels after Brexit; table servers doing their best with additional demand resulting from reduced restaurant capacity in the town. Why was there no contingency plan for a No vote Mr Cameron?

Brilliant location, my husband and I stayed in a double room with a sea view and it was beautiful. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We didn’t arrive until later than expected, they squeezed us in for food before the kitchen closed for the night. The food was served very quickly and was delicious with large portions. I had a lovely chat with the lady on reception who gave me some tips on the best places for drinks. A very pleasant stay.
