Reasonable & good food. Staff were very pleasant & helpful. Will go again especially on a Sunday when it's carvery day.

Disappointing dropped in for a coffee and a scone which looked very attractive. But heated in a microwave is a mistake and doesn't cover up it is stale. Found it overpriced and poor quality. Will not be returning.

I know gimmicks are fun, but the saucepan used instead of a traditional plate is causing the quality of the food to massively fall and become inedible because of its heat.The menu outside does not give a true representation of the prices. When you go to pay, you discover that the price you saw on the menu, is actually the "old" prices. Very misleading. Take the menu down and replace it with the updated prices.On a normal plate, the quality of food would of been very good.

Great food, hot and tasty! Had the half pounder burger and it was the best beef burger I've had in ages! Chips were freshly cooked and very hot 🔥 Toilets are a bit out of date but clean and usable. Would definitely recommend!

This is a delightful place. The menu is varied and caters for all appetites and palates. The staff are so lovely and helpful. The food was cooked perfectly and is good value for money. Tucked away in a quiet little street with outside seating, definitely worth a visit. Well recommended! Thank you to the staff!

We stumbled upon home cafe as we saw someone going in with their dog, we followed with our dog and sat upstairs. The staff were really friendly, and to say its dog friendly the place is spotless, we ordered our food, a mixed grill and lamb chops plus 2 coffees, we were really surprised how quickly the food arrived and was very good. We are looking forward to going there again.

Breakfast better on a plate, it was served in a frying pan on a dirty piece of wood. The toast was at the bottom and had absorbed the fat making it all soft and sloppy. We had one extra rasher of bacon each, two in all at an extra cost of 3 quid making each breakfast £8. We didn't bother with drinks. Breakfast down the road was £3.99 we were ripped off so look at the prices first.

First table we chose had not been cleaned.Ordered a full breakfast not impressed, it was served in a cast iron pan on a burnt board which looked awful. Toast was on the bottom with everything else piled on top which made it hard on the bottom and soggy on the top.Please serve on a hot plate with toast on the side then i would give 5 stars👍

I've enjoyed 2 breakfasts here this week and haven't been disappointed. Food was lovely, cooked to order, good quality. I had the full vegetarian breakfast, vegetable sausages,hash brown, beans, mushrooms and eggs with fried bread. The coffee was good too, my favourite Lavazza, and they had soy milk for those who are either lactose intolerant or vegan.I'm vegan and lactose intolerant, so gave my dog the eggs and fried bread, the owner is lovely and happy to make sure you are a satisfied customer

Recently tried the breakfast here. Didnt have to wait too long for it to arrive. Breakfast is served in an old iron frying pan (love that) with a separate pot of baked beans, sausage not bad, as I can't bear cheap tasteless sausages . A little bit pricey I would say but enjoyable. Cappuccino good & you get a small pot of jelly beans on the side, a novel bonus!
