Called in for coffee and buns with my husband and young son whilst passing through town. The lady who served us was lovely, chatting to us whilst she took our order. Nothing was too much trouble. Very reasonable prices too. Would definitely recommend and would visit again if in the area.

Home cooked breakfast to dream of, with freshly made bread and a lovely cup of tea. All served by a lady who reminds me of my grandmother, in that she is really keen that everything's right foryou. What more can you ask for?

Love this place. I have been working around the corner for the last few weeks and popping in here to buy lunch most days. It's a very old fashioned place but in a good way. It feels like time stood still in the 70s. Sandwiches /baguettes are fresh, portions are big and prices very reasonable. Some of the cakes are amazing and the scotch eggs are freshly made every day and deserve a special mention..
