Have stayed here before 5 years ago and fond of it. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Built c 1770s. Grand old house. Lovely rooms, super food and dining. It is charming. Grounds are beautiful. Has a lake, snooker room, self catering I stables. Room for wheelchair access, and room for mobility access.

The room we had was spacious with underfloor heating, and very good value against equivalent rooms in the town centre. WiFi was very patchy and non existent at points, which was a bit frustrating in an area with limited mobile data. Common areas are lovely with grand chandeliers, mirrors and paintings. Weather was poor so we didn't get a chance to enjoy the grounds.Breakfast was freshly prepared but was a little dry. At dinner, it felt like the chef was shooting for something in the way of fine dining, but didn't quite get there, at least for the meal we had. Smoked duck starter was good, the beef fillet main course was a bit disappointing and the lemon tart pastry was a bit tough. I'm not sure the waiting staff need to check we are enjoying every course.Otherwise, the service and staff are very helpful throughout.

I went here with my partner for afternoon tea on their birthday. I have many dietary requirements including vegan and gluten free. I was blown away by the amazing selection of food prepared for me that fit my requirements. All of it tasted amazing and it felt equal standard to my partner's normal afternoon tea selection.Along the same line of Nanteos being accomodating, I also am autistic. This means I can struggle in busy and loud environments. We asked during booking if there was any way we could be given a quiet table. Nanteos went above and beyond and gave up our own little room. I have never been so blown away by the disability support and accommodation at any venue.Anyone would have a lovely time having afternoon tea at nanteos, and due to their accomodations this includes those with dietary requirements, and disability requirements too.I can't rate our expirence highly enough!

Just returned from a 3 night stay with my daughters wedding taking place on Saturday night. The building is a beautiful setting for any occasion and is kept in excellent order, the staff were on point at all stages of our stay, Mark was so helpful and very knowledgeable which was really appreciated given it was my first time as Father of the bride! We will be back to sample some fine dinning and the excellent service I’m sure.

Disabled room on ground floor spacious, nicely furnished with very comfortable king size bed. Spacious and well equipped wet room. Food and service good. From my point of view, a house of this size with a 4 star rating should have a lift. I managed with my stick but would not be suitable for many disabled people.

Lovely and impressive country house, set in acres of it's own grounds. There is a lake, a labrynth walled garden and a private driveway that is over a mile long. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast does have to be pre-ordered, which is odd, but that shouldn't put you off. Highly recommend.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights for a friend's wedding (hosted at Nanteos Masion) from the drive up the entrance, looking out over the rolling hills we knew it would be special. The hotel is superb, a truly stunning location and very peaceful. The rooms are well equipped (we had a suite room) coffee and tea facilities, ironing board, desks, luxury toiletries etc. The staff are very polite and friendly, they couldn't do enough for the quests to make it as enjoyable as possible. The bar tariffs are good and the food also a high standard. Breakfasts are also nice and ordering the night before means they arrive on time so no waiting around. Easily give this venue top marks for all the categories. My wife and I are thinking about a return at some point.

Went for an Afternoon Tea. It was amazing. The cakes, scones, Welsh rabbit and sausage rolls were out of this world! Plus so much more. Had to bring some home. Very professionally served. Staff are so friendly and polite. Lovely building and gardens.

Incredible building with great views. The public areas of the hotel are very nice. Room had lovely view and large sash windows. Large, comfortable bed. Decor wasn't really in keeping with house though and some peeling paint/old grout made it feel a bit tired. Breakfast was disappointing. Staff were all friendly and helpful.
