Pengarreg Bar and Lounge in Ceredigion

Quickly seated on arrival.Slight delay til our order was taken by a very cheerful, pleasant and polite young lady.Our excellent meals were quickly served. The roast beef was tender, tasty and plentiful. A large Yorkshire pud, veg and jug of gravy made up the meal with mash & roast potatoes.I found room for choc fudge cake and my partner enjoyed a cheesecake portion, both were very good.Excellent meals for the price. Loads of parking ,very child and dog friendly. Situated on a caravan park , but open to all. Well worth a visit if in the area, both lunch and dinner served. There is a bar ,TV, games, child play area etc . A function room is also on site.

Walked down on Thurs night 6.30 to have a meal , two tables of four were seated so didn't think there would be a problem getting a table for 2 . But was told they were fully booked 🙄. Asked if we could have takeaway and was only offered chips or cheesy chips ,not what we wanted to order. Staff didn't seem to care , spoke to a table of locals who couldn't believe we could not eat on site as the place was empty , gave us directions to another pub who were helpful and took walk ins all night.

Always a pleasure to work here beautiful building and grounds and great play area for kids. Food is also really good.

Lovely welcoming place, excellent food and fab setting

Stopped on our way to our holiday at Newport. What a fantastic start! Wonderful prawns, great ribs and excellent scampi, with very friendly staff, will definitely be popping in on our way home looking forward to coming back! (Although not looking forward to going home!)

I never knew this place until I zoomed in on the map, I've been drinking elsewhere until now. Great place for families or just chilling by yourself like me 🙂

Friendly staff, great food, family orientated, kids play park outside, smoking areas and outside seating. Clean toilets and small games room, pool table and a variety of drinks on offer.
