Hugely disappointed.Had been recommended this place as a nice dining experience. I had the Monkfish wish to be fair was delicious, maybe a tiny bit under seasoned however my partners Pork belly was not so great.Food aside I feel like this place is a bit confused in its identity. The menu reads as a la carte however the experience was somewhat chain pub standard.Service was mediocre and not especially attentive. The ambiance of the place is bizarre.Probably nice as a lunch time quick snack with the family however saturday night couples dining is a no. 2 mains and a bottle of wine £58 felt a little steep for the experience.

I am vegetarian and there was only one vegetarian option for the main which was a spicy roasted aubergine. I am not very good with spicy food so the lovely waiter went to talk to the chef who the chef made myself and my friend a very tasty mushroom pie. The waiter is always professional and attentive. It would be better if there were two vegetarian options for the main. The food was delicious. I highly recommend a visit.

12 of us visited on 12 February 2022 and had one of the best meals I’ve had in ages. Condensed Valentine’s menu was available although chef cooked another meal for a member of our party at her request. I had beetroot cheese and pear salad with caramelised orange peel which was gorgeous I also had Hake on red pepper and clam risotto which was amazing. One member of our party was vegan and she loved her celeriac meal. The meat eaters also enjoyed those steaks all cooked to their individual liking. Would highly recommend this restaurant for both food and excellent service ,

What a wonderful dining experience. It feels old world with waiting staff dressed the part and impeccable service. The food is amazing. I had spiced lamb with couscous and it was sublime. Thoroughly recommend.

After a 5 hour journey to Aberystwyth, we were very much looking forward to dinner. What a massive disappointment! We both okey this restaurant for the beautiful sea views, but when we arrived we were placed on a table against the wall, far far away from any sea view! Absolutely no atmosphere. The food itself was incredibly over priced and not that good. Vegetarian options were very poor.

I went to this restaurant with my partner on Valentine's Day and we had a lovely evening. The room was cosy and the staff were very kind and accommodating! Would definitely recommend it for any special occasion :)

Upstairs restaurant is something else. Have been several times. The prawn starter left me speechless. Welsh lamb main deserves an award. Will recommend. Tips highly deserved

Had our Christmas do here tonight. Service and the food was top quality, they were aware of my nut allergy and they made sure each course I had was nut free. Had a couple of frames of snooker downstairs before our meal too, great night!

Lunch upstairs on the pier today, 2 courses starting with leek and potato soup with wedges of warm bread and butter followed by chunky beef and ale crusty pie in onions and gravy with mash, broccoli and Chardonnay carrots, Belinda had butternut squash and mushroom risotto, absolutely delicious, the food was pipping hot, excellent service made very welcome in a lovely setting and view from the pier, washed down with a cold lager shandy. We have had food on numerous occasions this year with just ourselves and the grandchildren and have always been delighted with the good and service. Definitely recommend this venue.

Highly recommended. Booking essential. Had one of the best meals for a while. I had the lamb shank which was cooked to perfection and fell off the bone. The gravy/sauce it came in was delicious. The staff was friendly with good service and added to the great atmosphere.
