The service was excellent, the food was absolutely fantastic and such good value for money. We had a lot of choice of for our final holiday night meal and we were so glad we picked Tafarn y Maes.

Called in today for Sunday lunch as visiting family who live locally for a get-together.Very warm welcome from the staff, good menu choice, really nice food, reasonably priced. Great puddings!Will definitely return when next in Aber.Booking essential as pub not that big. Good atmosphere.

What a fantastic little gem! We had Sunday lunch here during a recent weekend stay nearby. The welcome was very warm and friendly, the interior is lovely and the staff very helpful. They catered for my food allergies and even sorted out additional things with prior warning. I was shocked to be offered a vegan gluten free dessert - a rarity in some places. Not only that, it was DELICIOUS. Our server - Michelle - deserves a special mention for her excellent customer service and friendly manner. Excellent hygiene and covid protocols as well. Went for Sunday lunch and can't knock it. Great quality lamb. Good veg including cheesy leeks so bit of a change, decent roast potatoes. Lovely service. Good value as well, especially as free meal for under 5s.

Ate here for lunch two days in a row and it’s sensational! Chef Ludo is one of the best in the business. First lunch, we had the specials including pigeon and guinea fowl. Today we had the Sunday roast. This place is a must for anyone from near or far! Very friendly and welcoming staff too

New refurbished destination dining pub. Lovely host Margaret, fantastic , freshly cooked food. Lamb rump is absolutely to die for, steaks cooked to perfection. Good selection of wine and beer. A lovely place to visit. Highly recommended.

This is a place worth travelling to. It's really nicely done up, and the food is extremely high level - amongst the absolute best experiences I've had in many years of eating around these parts. There's the usual pub classics like gammon with egg and pineapple which are flawlessly executed plus some more adventurous options like a stunning beetroot and goats cheese risotto. Don't leave without trying the black pudding scotch egg which is glorious.
