Tafarn y Maes in Ceredigion

Came here for a wake. Beautiful spread put on. Sandwiches were fresh and cakes were beautiful. Never been here before but I will be returning. Staff very friendly and attentive.

Just come from Tafarn y Maes, had a my father's funeral refreshments there. The tea was excellent. Good Choice of sandwiches, good selection of cakes. Plus potato wedges. Staff were very friendly and helpful would highly recommend. Thank you to all concerned, it was a lovely end to what was a difficult day.

Delicious meal when I visited with a friend for my birthday last week. Garlic Mushrooms, steak and creme brulee was truly amazing. Great service and a really friendly welcome. Definitely recommend.

Firstly we had a good welcome. Then the food was outstanding. Starters were plentiful and tasty. (Only possible criticism was the Thai soup was more of a curry soup, but still very good). Steaks were perfectly cooked, full of flavour. Would highly recommend this place.

Used to have a caravan on rheidol caravan park used this pub nearly every night on holiday so friendly and gorgeous food and hospitality do miss it as haven't our caravan anymore loved Maggie the owner and her family made myself and my partner Karl so welcome

Sunday lunch was as delicious as the week day menu. Thank you for accommodating us and squeezing us in despite your packed restaurant. Best wishes Zoe, Carl and Bella (our dog) we will definitely book again.

Called in today for Sunday lunch as visiting family who live locally for a get-together.Very warm welcome from the staff, good menu choice, really nice food, reasonably priced. Great puddings!Will definitely return when next in Aber.Booking essential as pub not that big. Good atmosphere.

What a fantastic little gem! We had Sunday lunch here during a recent weekend stay nearby. The welcome was very warm and friendly, the interior is lovely and the staff very helpful. They catered for my food allergies and even sorted out additional things with prior warning. I was shocked to be offered a vegan gluten free dessert - a rarity in some places. Not only that, it was DELICIOUS. Our server - Michelle - deserves a special mention for her excellent customer service and friendly manner. Excellent hygiene and covid protocols as well. Ate here for lunch two days in a row and it’s sensational! Chef Ludo is one of the best in the business. First lunch, we had the specials including pigeon and guinea fowl. Today we had the Sunday roast. This place is a must for anyone from near or far! Very friendly and welcoming staff too
