The Beach Hut in Ceredigion

We have been coming to Llangrannog for 19 years on and off and our kids always loved this place. Since 2002, the Beach Hut Team has established a top restaurant-café.Whether you want an amazing breakfast, a takeaway, a bistro dine-in with a glass of wine, or traditional seaside fish and chips, the Beach Hut has everything. On 08-Jun, we enjoyed a Cajun Fiery Fish Bun with seaweed spiced batter, a choice of skinny French fries or English chunky chips and a dressed green salad.The coffee was superb, freshly ground and we found the black Americanos passed the test with perfection... crisp, clear and full of punch.Open more or less all year round with some opening restrictions in winter, the Beach Hut caters for everyone... families, bucket and spaders, walkers, newspaper readers... and of course, die-hard surfers and bodyboarders.We were last year in November when bizarrely the sea was as warm as it is in June... a regular thing in Cardigan Bay! So we are hoping to be back later this year... keep doing your thing guys!

Excellent!! Dog friendly with a great breakfast selection and good coffee. Views of the beach from inside as well as outside.

Had breakfast here then a takeout fish and chips in the afternoon. Food was very tasty. At first the prices seemed ok if a little high, however after receiving the food and realising how small the portions were (both breakfast and fish and chips) I’d say it is very overpriced. Nice location and staff are polite.In summary nice, not cheap, won’t fill you.

Visited whilst on holiday last week on a sunny day. Great service from staff and fish finger sandwich to die for. All superb and would recommend. One word, the road down to beach is to say least exciting but we'll worth it.

Lovely food. But payment is card only, surely this is a stumbling block for customers to be able to pay for food. How many people now only use their banking app on their phone, very bad reception down in the village as the saga of the car park shows.

Awful experience here, food took 20mins even though noone was in front of me and my order was just 2 portions of chips and sausages, which were already cooked. They got the order wrong, and then got to the beach to discover they were awfully undercooked and hard! Took it back to get rectified. Zero apologies or care, awful experience, avoid!

Food was amazing. Service was horrendous. Was not welcomed on entering. Was no friendliness or warmth. Eventually got a menu and asked for our order. When trying to pay my partner has to stand at the bar, 60cm away from the waitress while she was literally ignored until she had finished her task, no acknowledgement of presence, was extremely awkward to watch and very wierd. Overall felt like we were a nuisance just being there.

We had take away sausage rolls (vegan & veggie options) with chips. After a stroll and a fresh dip in the sea, we decided to grab some food. We went just after mid day on a weekday and it was full booked inside so we just had a take away and sat on the beach. Would recommend booking if you want to sit inside.

We called here while on a road trip for my husband’s birthday. We both had a fab breakfast (we ordered a large breakfast and the veggie breakfast). A real quirky place, great interior decor, beautiful food and awesome views of the beach and sea at Llangrannog. We will definitely call here again.
