Best chips I've ever had superb.

Not the best fish and chips.... Battered sausage was really bad. Chips were ok.

Fantastic fish and chips will definitely come again.

1st time using whilst heading to Aberystwyth for holidays , staff friendly but cod was a little watery and batter was soaking underneath, fell off in lumps, other than the fish chips was ok, don't think you can get chips wrong tho 😆

I'm down from Sheffield through work and if this is the best chip shop in the area im really surprised. The curry sauce was nice with a nice and spicy not a lot of chips and the price was too expensive as far as I'm concerned.

would give 0 stars if i could. arrived about 8.40, had hardly anything left there, they turned away another customer because they didn’t have chips left and refused to make more. easy enough to shove some more chips in. they closed it at 8.50 even though they advertise it closes at 9. on a saturday night, probably one of the busiest nights you would’ve thought they’d have enough food and stick to closing time. also asked for just vinegar on my chips but they dowsed it in salt instead which was vile. waste of money and time

Chips were top notch, freshly cooked and crispy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Curry sauce was banging too.

This place is without doubt the best fish and chip shop in Aberystwyth. Right on the sea front super fresh Cod, thinly battered with lovely chips, crispy outside, still moist inside, a massive portion so clean no salt or vinegar needed.

Lovely food and very good portion size. Best tasting chip shop in aberystwyth hands down. I can understand the poor hygiene rating as staff play on phones and eat while cooking food, if they could sort that out and the grubby letters on the wall this would be the best chip shop I've ever been in.

Wow, “The Chip Box”, amazing fish and chips, always drove down to Aberswyth from Portsmouth, with my job and always “held my hunger” so I can have the most delicious fish and chips ever! Great place, friendly staff, great places, very clean, very professional and most important DELICIOUS AUTHENTIC FOOD!!!!
