Only used the restaurant and was quite disappointed. We both wanted pork but was only one available so I opted for " lightly fried"chicken in breadcrumbs with rocket salad. The chicken was very well fried to the point of being overdone, the salad was tasty but tiny. I needed to heavily season the chicken to give it some flavour. However the pork dish was quite good.Needless to say after our disappointment we shall not be adding this to our list of fine eateries in and around Aberaeron which we regularly use on Saturday evenings.

He's a thief, liar, and definitely not 5* in few weeks after environmental health has been it will drop. I'm taking him to court for stealing £280 6 days later for mattress I complained about to environmental health

Only stopped for a drink. Good selection of lagers and ciders. Lovely interior recently decorated. Didn't eat so can't comment on Italian menu which sounded lovely. Shame beer garden was so unkempt and annoying, radio 1 mixed tape playing outside quite loud.

We haven't stayed in the hotel but had dinner there this evening, and it was absolutely delicious ! The staff /owners were amazing couldn't do enough for us even giving samples from their delicous menu - we had the risotto which was 5* plus and the lasagne gorgeous! Thank you for looking after us 😃

We had a fantastic meal at the Feathers Royal after enjoying some great wine in the garden - being able to have our dog join us for dinner was a wonderful surprise! The food was stunning, we happily worked our way through 3 courses and wish we had room for more!!

Ate here, food was ok. We were the only ones in the room. When we finished eating we were the only ones in the place so left. No atmosphere whatsoever. If they got their act together and did some marketing ie blackboard outside says 'we are open dogs welcome'. Should say Italian restaurant now open. A few flags perhaps? Menu needs to be visible. Cant see this place making it unless they act now. Shame as would imagine Italian would be popular.

The hotel is very good and the rooms are great good for those who want to rest..the city is very quiet and needs investment from the local government.for tourism the city has nothing.the beach is abandoned, there are not many shops or attractions. ..very sad because the city has potential.

Good location. Near sea shore. Staff is very friendly and courteous. Good facilities. A bar and restaurant inside. Nice breakfast. They have option to sitting outside. There is playground just opposite to the hotel. So kids can enjoy. Nice ambience.

Very nice hotel that exceeded our expectations. Steffano, the owner is Italian and relocated to Aberaeron a couple of years ago. As with any old hotel it's a work in progress, but the rooms and service were great. Most impressive was the food - fresh pasta dishes and lovely seafood - definitely the best we had over a weekend in Aberaeron.

Probably the best meal I have had in aberaeron... . Highly recommended... service was fantastic, we were made to feel welcome and special even with our dog rosie. The candle in the desert was lovely, I had only mentioned in passing that it was Donna's birthday so it was a lovely touch... the pork was to die for but my favourite was my home made ravioli never tasted anything as nice as that... thank you to all the staff we will def return.
