I appreciate its location, so I guess have to accept the cost! 45 minute wait BUT the staff managed my expectations well and I didn't have much of an issue waiting as it was a Bank Holiday and extremely busy. Food was very good, but was it any better than a decent Chippy, no not really. You obviously pay for the fancy boxes instead of paper, but again it was useful as we were eating in the car. Kids were upset there was no fish cake and I was upset that over the road was nearly half the price LOL

Best curry sauce in the world ever... Not that I've tried every curry sauce in the world, but this was lovely.Chips were perfect and I had the cod bites too. Again, perfect.Staff were polite, attentive and helpful. Everything was just right. We sat on their terrace to eat and to our surprise we weren't attacked by any Seagulls so they must have an agreement with the owners 🤣

Absolutely delicious scampi and chips!! Fantastic menu and a can't-be-beaten quayside location.

Really nice food, chips were amazing. Really good set up with the pagers. They give you pager then it beeps when your food is ready. No waiting or standing about in queues. Love that. Got to regular portions and it was massive, god help anyone who gets a large! Pick up the food round the side of the shop, out of the way if anyone lining up and off the Main Street. Genius…..A+

Great food, slightly different selection to what you normally get in a chip shop so my daughter and I pushed the boat out with some mackerel goujons and spicy squid. My son went for a battered jumbo sausage. All very tasty. Good chips, normally the sign of a team that know what they are doing. Battered cod looked delicious and a typically large portion (if only I had the appetite for it!). Reasonable prices, around £10 a head for food. Plenty of seating along the harbour wall for that classic seaside experience.

We enjoyed a lovely fish & chips on the benches provided. The fish was lovely and the chips equally as nice. A lovely evening treat! 5*.

Absolutely amazing. The food was perfect, everyone was friendly and approachable. The chips weren't oily and the fish was perfect. I don't normally like the batter on fish, but this one was amazing. Loved the boxes too, definitely made it easy to eat from on the harbour wall.

Had fish & chips curry sauce & mushy peas. Staff are very friendly good big portions good value for money. Nicely presented in a box with a slice of lemon &tartare sauce. Sauce & peas where in a separate box. Would definately take away from here again . Also do gluten & vegan choices which is good value too.

A very busy shop selling delicious fish and chips. The queue was never ending and tasting the fish and chips myself. I could understand why they were so popular. Thin crispy batter and crispy chips eaten overlooking the harbours. There is outdoor seating above the shop. Well worth a visit.

I read about this place before we arrived and I had it in my mind that I would get the seafood platter despite how long the queue was and how bad the weather. As it happened, thankfully, the Mrs queued for me instead whilst I reserved a seating area nearby. My food was fresh, right out the fryer. It was hot and crispy and was definitely worth the £12 price tag. My Mrs had the cod and chips, the fish was delicate and the batter crisp. The chips themselves were tasty too. If you are in the area then I definitely recommend The Lime Crab 🤘🏻
