Not a place to go with family no food being served as I asked the bar staff at 1347 hrs today 10th June.My one grandson and youngest daughter 10 wanted something to eat so I purchased two sausages from the chip shop next door.As soon I returned one of the staff came out and said I was not allowed to give the children the food. Understand if food is available however even though i asked I was told by the staff no food was available. We gladly left the Ship sad to say lovely looking place great view the Guinees was good as well.

Fantastic find just travelling through aberporth, we had a steak sandwich and a drink, great value for money, very tasty food and excellent service

They're completely unreasonable. We bought our drinks at 2pm hoping to have some food too. Then we found out that they stopped serving food at 2pm. When we asked if we could get a bite from nextdoors while having our drinks outside, they said "no".I guess you have lied on other replies as much as you have done to my review. No deli counter available. Lier!

Girl on the bar was so sassy asked us on arrival if we were here for food to which we replied yes then said "well were closed now so what do you want" we had a look at drinks and asked for a guiness and G&T to which she asked for ID i presented mine but my partner didnt have any which is fair enough we know its the law but the girl didnt have to have such an attitude it was obvious we are of age covered in tattoos and piercings felt more like we were asked for ID cause she didnt like the look of us more than anything. Regret buying the drinks now should have just gone somewhere else and not given our custom to this shoddy pub.

Was hoping to give a bad review so we got a funny comment from the owner , but unfortunately we couldn’t 😂As we entered we were greeted by Ellie who kindly told us we were upgraded to the best table with the best view upstairs which was lovely as it was a birthday meal, we were served by Claire who was equally lovelyThe food was really very good and pudding even better !!Thanks for a wonderful evening

Such a warm and friendly place, only had a few drinks, but the menu looks lovely and based upon what we saw being served to others, we'll be looking to sample it in the not too distant future.A nice selection of drinks with some very interesting and friendly locals to chat to.

Stayed in Aberporth for 2 nights at the Highcliffe Hotel. Booked both nights in advance at the ship, as it's basically the only restaurant in the village and gets booked up. Both of the meals were really good, and the staff were friendly and efficient too. Worth a try even if you're not staying in the village.

Lovely location, with easy parking close by and friendly staff. The food was very tasty (small full English breakfast). The only reason not rated as five stars, just could have done with slightly more on the plate. Two small mushrooms just isn't enough for £5.50. A couple more mushrooms or two halves of tomatoe or even another slice of toast and it would have been five stars for sure.
