Usual Wetherspoons menu, we had the Mongolian Curry which was lovely and hot. A few disappointments: nobody wearing masks, no screens between tables & the disable toilet definitely needed cleaning !

It's ok but I see now we are no longer worried about COVID, as there are no screens between tables no staff wearing masks, just a little effort to clean tables a dry cloth tucked into you belt will do for a quick wipe of tables.plus I guess no time to check the loos I think! 😞 As can be sen from the photo they where busy ..NOT

Amazing restaurant in a very interesting location - old train station. Its polite staff provide very fast service. Prices are reasonable while food is really good quality, ideally hot and always well presented on a plate. I also love their long opening hours! Really recommend this place!

Typical Wetherspoons experience. Good choice of ales 🍺 on offer including guest ales.Food ok, quick service. Ordered at bar as App doesn't have all the ales on.Staff helpful and polite.Clean and tidy, although OH thinks ladies loo could have had bit more cleaning today.

Been here loads of times in the past but recently has gone down hill. Went about 2 weeks back with a friend and they forgot to bring his food out so he waited 45mins for it. Yesterday I decided to got back there again and my friends food came and I waited 25mins after his arrived and asked where mine was. Turns out they cremated my pizza. Not only that but halloumi style sticks didn't come with the sweet chilli sauce and my chicken strips didn't come with mayo sauce.

Great location right by the train station. Able to order on your Wetherspoon app which makes the service smooth and easy. Good selection of foods and drinks for any occasion. And if you enjoy a drink, the taxi line is only few steps away to get you back home.

I had a family lunch here, I decided as we were all sat down, to order via the app. It worked perfectly and the delivery was swift from great staff. The food was good, a varied selection of burgers and curries that I ordered were good quality and filling. Excellent value. The only disappointment was that there was nothing available off the festive menu which we were eager to try... I made a couple of visits and it was no availability on each occasion. But hey, always next time. If you haven't tried it, you should. It's not 'Fine dining' but the dining is much better than just 'fine'

1 star for refunding me. Had a panini with barely any filling but when I brought it to the attention of a member of staff, I was told that it was supposed to be that way. Smugly told me that there were two slices of cheese in there because it's carefully portioned out. I couldn't see or taste them so asked for refund because I would not of bought it had I known. Staff member seemed unnecessarily rude.

Prices are good as it's a spoons, food is good value and drinks are good. Good atmosphere when we visited, have been 9 or 10 times total always left happy. Its a good pub.

Staff are good, beer is always good. Food is always nice. What's not to like. Monday has cheaper beers a definite bonus. For students... pre drink venue as plenty of large group tables. Seating outside for the shorts and flip flop crew. The toilet is not too far upstairs. Enjoy.
