Andrews Fish Bar in Powys

I shouldn’t have had fish and chips on a Monday! Just had the worst fish and chips ever tonight. So disappointed! The fish I’m sure was left from the lunch session and was really inedible. The batter was tough and chips were better but not good. Should have taken them back. They were expensive too. Still, I’ll know better next time.

Lovely fish supper on a friday? This is the plaice! Super-quick service. First class.

I just wanna say I have know this gentleman all my life costas and is chipshop and food is the best in the country that’s a 💯 no mistakes about that the best chipshop in uk every time we have food it’s spot on thanks costos mate ✊💙😊

Had to wait a very long time even though the shop was empty and the reason I visited. The staff were making telephone orders up from earlier. Very expensive and no one advised me that I could have had smaller portions. Food very tasty but staff very rushed.

Amazing fish and chips! We are so fussy when it comes to fish and chips and stopped here when passing through after checking the reviews it did not disappoint! Excellent chips and delicious fish and hot! Served nicely in a box with nice clean finish! If I could give more stars I would. Thank you we really enjoyed them 😊

I went to Andrews fish bar and ordered Chicken pie which was lovely, also ordered jumbo sausage and chips. I was really disappointed the chips were cold and under cooked. Won't be going again

Great family owned business in a modern well presented shop. A wide range of quality foods to cater for all requirements.Note. The home made Fishcakes are delicious.

Says it's the best fish and chips in Wales, so when it boasts that you have to give it a try. Very nice indeed and friendly welcoming staff too. Judging by the line of people outside waiting to get their tea I'm not the only one that would recommend this place. 👍
