Bahar in Powys

Great service and lovely food. Really well presented restaurant. We came here for a meal while travelling Wales for our honeymoon and weren’t disappointed! Thank you Triz for your time serving us you were excellent.

Been in Newtown for 5 days so having read the reviews had to try the Bahar. So out of 5 days I had a meal 4 times and it just got better. Lovely food and the staff were fantastic. Will gladly return for more great food.

Bahar is one of my favourite "go-to" restaurants. I chanced upon them back in 2020 when I had driven up from Shrewsbury to spend the weekend with a friend in Newtown. We visited again after a gap of 2 years last weekend to celebrate the Mrs' birthday. The food was delicious as always, everything was fresh and brought us a lot of memories. The service was above and beyond from tanz and rahi. My toddler was very curious to have a look at the very visible kitchen and was over the moon when the chefs waved back at him as we left. And a huge thanks to the team for making my wife's birthday special with a delicious plate of ice cream kulfi. Amazing place and a must visit.

Wonderful night guy so happy you could accommodate for my elderly father with wheelchair access, enjoyed our Father’s Day meal thank you for your kind hospitality catered for all 15 of us was a big ask but you did an outstanding job thank you tanz and rahi we will definitely be coming again

Great food !!!!!!! The staff are really friendly and very helpful. The food is out of this world!! Definitely give it a go if you have a chance, I really recommend this place. 5 stars all the way.

My husband and I took our 13 and 10 year old which was their first curry restaurant experience. We weren't disappointed. The food was absolutely amazing and the staff were so friendly and attentive. Definitely worth the visit if you're in Newtown.
