Welcoming staff and very good food for evening meal, breakfast was excellent, rooms are clean and tidy at a good price, will stay again.

Friendly owner who makes a real effort to please. The bar was a bit of a heavy metal haven and locals knew the full vocabulary of swear words in English and probably Welsh too. Accommodation was warm and comfortable with some cleaning issues! Rhymney Hobby Horse at £3 per pint (January '22) 😊

Maybe book ahead as ran out of steaks. Staff friendly and 🐕 dogs are welcome here. Would go back

A cracking pub with a lively and friendly atmosphere. Seems to be popular with the locals and is usually quite busy but in a good way. The staff are always friendly and there is a good selection of beers and cider at decent prices. We come here every year as the Real Ale Wobble is held in the area and it's always been a good night.

Always fun and well kept ales. The pies looked incredible and I'm definitely having one next year. They looked huge and had nice shortcrust pastry. We sat on the sofas after a hard day's riding and couldn't stand up again!

First stay and this place is great... Staffs are brilliant and they do really work hard to please everyone... Thanks again for your great hospitality...

Lovely beer garden, good beers, accommodation clean, tidy and a comfy bed but Jamie the landlord, is what makes this place, lovely gentleman and nothing is to much trouble, gave us loads of ideas where to go and what to see absolutely 1st class customer service. 👌

Friendly enough staff, accommodation very basic but a clean, dry place to sleep with ensuite. Pub food was ok, no sign of anywhere to get the breakfast that was supposed to be included. Not a holiday destination but fine for a stop over passing through.

Out of the 3 pubs in Llanwrtyd I would definitely say this is the best. I was a local and this was my watering hole. Serves good quality beer and reasonably priced. There is a pool table , dart board and flat screen tv that show sports. You can get good pub grub from here too. Definitely worth a visit when in Llanwrtyd.
