Central House in Powys

I went into the shop to order and asked for a vegetarian Singapore Fried Rice as part of a small order for 2 people.When I got home, I was dismayed to find that my meal was not vegetarian and contained pork, beef and chicken pieces and also prawns. I did phone the shop to let them know but it was too far away to travel back there to return the meal. The guy I spoke to on the phone said to remind him of the mistake next time I order and he will give me a free meal but he doesn't know me and didn't even ask for my name.My husband said that his meal was okay, though.

Beef was raw, forgot coke bottle. No help whatsoever with the only reply being "we usually cook the beef" would give this company a miss!

Disappointed very disappointedOrdered crispy chicken, spring rolls, special chow mein, chips and a burgerCrispy chicken waa not crispy but rubbery.Spring rolls where the size of my little finger.Special chow mein was very bland with small ammount of noodles and again rubber undercooked chewy meat.The burger was plain/bland and hardThe whole meal was reheated and served to me..That was obvious as from my call to order the meal is was deliverd to my home at an extra cost (even though the meal was £20)ALL IN 25 MINUTES!!!!NO THANKS never again

Have always used this fish shop and have never had any problems with the food or service.

Usually good food ,had food last night awful,90percent in bin very disappointed so bad don't know if would eat from there again.

Haven't been here for a while. The food was lush and didn't really need to wash the plates as there was absolutely nothing left.

Call themselves a Chinese and a fish and chip bar...... What a cheek. Ordered two chicken breasts and chips. Chips are your regular Chinese chips and not chip shop. Plus 3.30 for the smallest dryest piece of chicken known to man. With a half hour wait for the food to add insult to injury. Absolutely dismal experience and won't be going again.

Order completely wrong, but the two different meals I got tasted exactly the same. Had some spring rolls which contained nothing but bean sprouts.

As a vegetarian of around 20 years I ordered a vegetarian dish and beef curry and chips for husband. When I got home and put out the food tiny pieces of chicken, then the tiniest of prawns appeared in my vegetarian meal. I rang as this is completely unacceptable to be told to let them know next time I was in and I could have a free meal! Not much concern at all. As I didn't have the meal I had paid for I don't see how it would have been a free meal. I can't remember exactly what I said but I asked for the delivery of the correct meal which did arrive with three free fortune cookies. I didn't enjoy the food having been put off. It must have been a bad night although it was very quiet as the beef curry was left off the initial order but that was easily spotted when we paid. I have given three stars simply because the meal was delivered. Any vegetarians reading this will understand how I felt.
