Fantastic staff, nothing too much trouble. Beautiful room and good facilities. Some of the best food I've had in a while, with great steaks and the best sausages. Can't wait to return.

4 of us had a celebratory lunch recently. I ordered a 10 oz ribeye steak - medium rare. My friend ordered the same but medium. Both steaks were about 1cm thick and hardly 10 ounces! While my friend's was acceptable, mine was definitely on the well done side. Tasty, but well done. Not a hint of pink. Nobody came back to check if we were happy, until the meal was finished, when I was told " oh you should have said". Other meals were fine, so maybe I was unlucky, but I won't take the chance of trying again. Chef seems to be fine if you don't want steak. Apart from nobody doing the usual "is everything OK with your meals?", service was very friendly.By the way, the fries aren't fries - they're just chunky chips.

Just popped in for a beer with a mate that lives locally. The pub has a spacious beer garden, which is great on a sunny day, but the bar doesn't offer much in the way of beers or ales with only a couple of standard lager options. They are missing an opportunity here.

Great food, good selection with vegan and vegetarian options and super friendly staff. Best to book a table as it gets quite busy in the evening.

We are regular customers at The Dragon and stay a few times a year .We have just returned from a flying over night stay to attend a party. We stayed in a slightly smaller room as it was just for the night ,saying thatIt was more than comfortable it still had the mega bed , totally spotless as usual with all the usual necessary equipment. The party was held in the function room fabulous variety of food something for everyone. We dined in the restaurant in the evening and our food was one of the best meals we've had our grateful thanks to Grant the chef who is doing a fabulous job. Will be back soon

Friendly service and the food was pretty good. We had the Ragu, seafood linguine and bread platter to start. The bread platter was a huge slate board of toasted sourdough. I think maybe we expected different breads but was still good. The car park entrance is very tight so just be aware if planning to use it.

Visited before, sat outside and loved it. This time we sat inside to listen to the bar maid making sarcastic comments to another customer at the bar about something my husband had said. Perhaps better to sit outside where you can't hear staff!

Very nice little country hotel with loads of charm and character. We had lunch here and enjoyed lovely vegan curry and vegan chilli which was freshly made rather than bought in. It was decent value and the service was polite friendly and efficient

Tried to get a post walk pint after a day in the hills only to be told that they "weren't taking any more customers today" - this was at 3:30 in the afternoon. Tried to query whether this was for food since we literally only wanted a pint but the member of staff just walked away. We're now just over the road enjoying a pleasant pint and much friendlier service at the Brittania.

Our family group needed 3 rooms somewhere in that area for 2 nights and were really pleased with to have found this Hotel. All of the staff members were friendly and helpful which we appreciated. Our rooms were comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was really good. Nice bar to relax in during the evening. We hope to stay here again. Thank you Dragon Inn
